Nintendo has announced a special 40th Anniversary Edition of the Nintendo Switch 2 console, alongside themed accessories, all of which are now available for preorder. These items are scheduled for release on October 29.
The Nintendo Switch 2 - The Legend of Zelda 40th Anniversary Edition features green Joy-Cons with an interlocking triangle pattern and a golden Triforce on the left grip. The console's dock sports a golden and black Triforce design. Notably, this console bundle does not include a game.
Complementing the console is the Nintendo Switch 2 Pro Controller - The Legend of Zelda 40th Anniversary Edition. This controller features a black left grip and a green right grip, with a black and gold Triforce design on the faceplate. It is available as a standalone controller or in a bundle with a stand, exclusively from the Nintendo Store.
Further enhancing the anniversary collection is a Zelda-themed carrying case for the Switch 2. This accessory is black and gold, featuring a Triforce design, with green zipper pulls. A screen protector is also included with the carrying case.
These accessories coincide with the upcoming launch of a remake of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, which is slated for release a few days after the hardware on October 29.
