KFC has announced an official collaboration with Marvel for its upcoming film, Avengers: Doomsday, featuring a menu inspired by the villainous Dr. Doom. This partnership introduces new flavor profiles and limited-edition packaging to select KFC locations starting November 9.
The "Doomified" menu incorporates three new sauces and seasonings: Smoky Green Mayo, a sweet Doom Cola sauce, and a smoky char lime and chili seasoning dubbed Doom Dust. These additions will be featured on existing KFC items such as Dripped Wings, Loaded Fries, and the classic Chicken Bucket. The Doom Burger, for instance, will utilize the Smoky Green Mayo and be served on a black sesame bun. Drinks will also be re-imagined with a vanilla-flavored Doom Shake available in chocolate and peppermint or green apple sauce, and a Doom Supreme Fizz combining sparkling lemonade with green apple syrup or kiwi and boba pearls.
In addition to the themed food items, customers who purchase a "Doomified" meal will receive one of five Colonel Sanders Cosplay Collection figurines, while supplies last. The figurines depict Colonel Sanders in attire inspired by Dr. Doom's iconic look.
This campaign is set to coincide with the release of Avengers: Doomsday in theaters on December 18 and will continue through the new year. Scott Mezvinsky, global CEO of KFC, stated that this collaboration represents KFC's most extensive joint venture to date, aiming to place the brand at the center of a major cultural event.
